Passion for the great outdoors and cycling
Behind OBVIOUS is Damien, the creator of the brand. His favourite playground is just a few pedal strokes from his workshop in Saint-Chamond (42): the Monts du Lyonnais, the Massif du Pilat... And because he had specific ideas about how he cycled and what he wanted from it, he set about bicycle frame design.
A crazy project! Well, not really... Damien, an engineer by training, has spent more than 15 years with his head in the handlebars working for some of the big names in the cycle industry. It was an obvious choice for him to design his own bike. It caught the eye of other enthusiasts of sport and nature cycles, and so was born the OBVIOUS brand !

Launched in 2022, OBVIOUS has set itself the mission of bringing you bike. With our bikes designed and assembled in our workshop, you have the guarantee of gravel, MTB and titanium road bikes designed and assembled in France and comply with the ISO 4210 global standard. We have chosen to work with partners who specialise in the manufacture of titanium frames in Asia.
With OBVIOUS, everything is done to ensure you get the most out of your bike, whatever the terrain or weather conditions. As a bike manufacturer specialising in titanium, we are uncompromising about the performance and elegance of our bikes. We love working with this material because of its fantastic performance, its ability to customisation and its unique look. For us, a good bike is also a beautiful bike!
